Want to Buy Tamron 17-35

A wide angle lens for a Canon mount. Something like the Tamron 17-35 mm. I have a 24 mm but it's not wide enough for architecture.
Also a bracket or head for shooting in portrait orientation. I want it for doing panoramas.
