Print Image Nights
Print image specifications
The number of prints entered each evening is usually limited to 4 per person unless approved ahead of time by the Print Chair. On theme nights this usually means 2 prints on theme and/or 2 prints of your choice.
To insure that your prints conform to required size for viewing, please follow these directions:
- Prints must be no smaller than 80 square inches (for example, 8x10 or 7x14 or 6x13, etc.).
- Prints must be mounted on clean, firm board (such as foam core), or in a matte. If a matte is not used the image must be FIRMLY adhered to the mounting board.
- Prints may be made from film (slides or negatives) or digital files and may be commercially or maker printed.
- No identification is to be visible on the front of the image or matte. Identification must be on the back of the mounted print in the upper left hand corner with the following information: title, name of photographer, arrow indicating the top (orientation) of the print.
Come to the meeting at least 15-20 minutes before the meeting begins. The prints are all mounted on the walls for all of the membership to view up close.
